If you’re seeking a career with an experienced accounting team, Kenmore is the place to pursue!Kenmore Air is seeking a full-time, on-site, Accounts Receivable Specialist to support a variety of responsibilities primarily within accounts receivable and general ledger. This position plays a key role in supporting a fast-paced and dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, has strong excel skills, is comfortable working hands-on with a variety of financial systems and technology, and will be committed to maintaining accuracy, timeliness and accountability in all aspects of the receivables function. The position reports to the VP of Finance.Key ResponsibilitiesManage the end-to-end A/R function, ensuring timely and accurate processing, tracking, and reconciliation of customer accounts such as:Audits daily till statement reports.Reconciles credit card deposits from payment processor to transactions from company’s reservation system and maintains daily batch report.Reviews and reconciles deferred revenue and accounts receivable via the general ledger.Completes account applications and credit history requests.Maintains customer profiles and balances in the ERP.Maintain organized financial records and support internal controls to ensure data integrity across multiple systems.Partner closely with internal teams—including Sales, Operations, and Accounting—to resolve discrepancies and support smooth billing and collection processes.Monitor A/R aging, identify issues or trends, and escalate or resolve items proactively.Support month-end and year-end close activities with timely reporting, documentation, and account analysis.Participate in process improvements, leveraging technology and Excel expertise to streamline workflows and enhance reporting.Other Responsibilities:Participates in the annual physical inventory process.Performs research projects and other special projects and duties as needed to meet the overall needs of the Accounting department.Qualifications3 years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting/finance role.Strong proficiency in Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data analysis).Experience working with multiple systems, ERPs, or accounting platforms; adaptable and comfortable learning new technology.Strong attention to detail, organization, ability to prioritize tasks and follow-through.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment.Team oriented and willingness to support with a variety of accounting tasksA high degree of accountability, reliability and professional judgment.As the leading employer in our industry in the Pacific Northwest, Kenmore Air is proud to offer a competitive total compensation package as well as a benefits program designed to support our employees and their families.
