Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging chess lessons tailored to different age groups and skill levels
- Manage classroom activities to ensure a productive and respectful learning environment
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support improvement
- Develop instructional materials, including lesson plans, exercises, and game analysis
- Foster critical thinking, problem-solving, and strategic skills among students
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote positive social interactions among students
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate individual learning styles and needs
- Organize chess tournaments or competitions to motivate students and build community engagement
Qualifications
- Proven experience in teaching or tutoring, preferably in a classroom setting
- Strong knowledge of chess strategies, rules, and game analysis
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Experience working with children or adults in an educational environment
