Our client, Lonicera Marketing Group, is looking for a Leasing Agent.
ABOUT LONICERA:
Lonicera Partners is a Downtown Brooklyn based real estate investment and development company founded in 2010. Having developed more than a dozen buildings, largely in Downtown Brooklyn, the firm has cultivated strategic institutional and community relationships. Lonicera Partners will grow to encompass buildings in Manhattan and Greenwich, Connecticut in the future.
Lonicera Marketing Group (Lonicera’s Marketing and Leasing entity) is focused on the leasing and marketing of Loncera Partner's developments.
THE ROLE:
Lonicera Marketing Group is looking for a Leasing Agent who is looking to grow their career in property management with a fast-growing company. The Leasing Agent is responsible for leasing apartments to prospective residents, providing exceptional customer service and acting as a brand ambassador.
This role will be a fulltime, W-2, benefits eligible role and based out of our downtown Brooklyn leasing office. The role may end once the lease up of this building is completed. There will be a nominal commission pooled for the team which will be split among the leasing team members. This position will require work on Saturdays and Sundays with days off taken on Thursday and Friday.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee sales process and provide exceptional tour experience for prospective residents
- Proactively follow up with all current and prospective renters utilizing and maintaining a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and current residents to ensure retention and satisfaction
- Contribute to positive online reputation of community
- Follow-up with those inquires that have not scheduled visits
- Guide applicants through the leasing process and clearly communicating what is needed from the applicant(s)
- Oversee the application process (supporting documents and approval)
- Submit complete application packages to management for review
- Issue leases to approved applicants
- Introduce the approved applicant to management
- Tend to phone and email messages and inquires within 24 hours
- Understand product and market knowledge, which includes shopping competitive properties and completion of market surveys
- Utilize customer service skills to professionally resolve issues
- Complete weekly leasing reports accurately and timely
- Inspect apartment homes prior to residents moving in to ensure a superior move in experience
- Accept rent payments, security deposits and other applicable fees
- Performs other job duties as required
Qualifications:
- Active New York State Broker or Sales Person Real Estate License is a must
- Prior customer service or sales experience is preferred
- Yardi Experience is preferred
- Bachelors Degree preferred, but not required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is preferred
- Highly organized, highly motivated and have strong attention to detail
