Maintenance Manager

SJ Mobilita is hiring an experienced Maintenance Manager for a growing manufacturing organization. We are looking for a hands-on maintenance leader who can manage the maintenance team, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and ensure safe and efficient plant operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop maintenance technicians and support staff.
- Plan and manage preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance programs.
- Oversee maintenance of production machinery, utilities, facility systems, and supporting equipment.
- Identify recurring equipment issues and drive root-cause analysis (RCA) and corrective actions.
- Develop maintenance schedules aligned with production requirements.
- Manage CMMS, work orders, maintenance records, and spare-parts inventory.
- Track key maintenance KPIs such as downtime, response time, PM completion, and equipment reliability.
- Coordinate equipment installations, upgrades, repairs, and capital improvement projects.
- Manage external contractors, equipment suppliers, and service providers.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, LOTO, safety, environmental, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
- Prepare and manage maintenance operating and capital budgets.
- Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, Quality, and Operations teams.
- Provide hands-on technical support for complex equipment failures when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
- 5 years of industrial/manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Previous maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required.
- Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
- Hands-on troubleshooting experience with:
- Mechanical systems
- Electrical systems
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Automated equipment
- Experience with PLC-controlled machinery and industrial controls.
- Familiarity with HVAC, compressors, boilers, and other facility systems preferred.
- Experience using a CMMS or maintenance-management system.
- Strong leadership, communication, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge of OSHA standards, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and industrial safety practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.
- Lean Manufacturing / Six Sigma / Continuous Improvement experience.
- CMRP or similar maintenance/reliability certification.
- Experience managing capital projects and equipment installations.
