Sizer School is seeking an innovative, student-centered Engineering & Technology Teacher to join our school community. Responsibilities
Develop and implement project-based, inquiry-driven instruction.
Integrate engineering design processes, emerging technologies, and real-world applications into coursework. Units could include:
Introduction to Coding; Advanced Coding; Engineering design; CAD design; Prototyping; and Robotics.
Differentiate instruction to support diverse learners.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Technology Education, Engineering, Industrial Technology, STEM Education, or related field.
MA teacher license and SEI endorsement required within the first year.
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Experience with project-based learning and hands-on instruction.
Preferred
Master’s degree in Education, Engineering, Technology, or related field.
Industry experience in engineering, manufacturing, robotics, computer science, or related technical fields.
Experience with CAD software, robotics platforms, fabrication tools, or coding instruction.
Familiarity with FIRST Robotics, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), or similar STEM programs.
