SixSix Apparel is an established custom apparel manufacturer located in Brownsburg, Indiana. We produce sewn performance apparel for motorsports, wrestling, and other team-sports programs.
We are looking for a dependable, experienced production sewer to join our established sewing team. This is a hands-on production position working primarily with stretch performance fabrics and custom athletic garments.
Responsibilities
- Sew and finish a variety of custom athletic and sportswear garments
- Operate industrial sewing equipment, including serger/overlock and straight-stitch machines
- Follow established garment-construction and production processes
- Inspect seams and finished work for accuracy and consistent quality
- Work efficiently while meeting quality and production expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate with the sewing lead regarding questions or quality concerns
Qualifications
- Professional, industrial, or production sewing experience is required
- Experience operating industrial serger and straight-stitch machines
- Ability to thread and operate sewing equipment confidently
- Garment-construction and stretch-fabric experience is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and consistent workmanship
- Dependable attendance and ability to work as part of a production team
- Ability to maintain quality while working at a productive pace
Final candidates may be invited to complete a short, paid sewing-skills assessment using sample materials.
