Description
To provide instruction to physician assistant students assigned to a hubsite.
- Facilitating PBL group.
- Arranging supervised clinical experiences.
- Attend meetings three times per year.
- Act as liaison between preceptors and students in the program.
I. Teaching 75%
- Provide instruction one 1/2 day per week.
- Act a mentor and advisor to the students.
- Administer unit tests.
III. Administration 25%
- Attend meetings three times per year.
- Assist with finding cooperating healthcare professionals for nine clinical rotations.
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Sensitive to the needs of underrepresented minority populations.
- Master’s degree in a related medical field.
- Must be familiar with the role of a physician assistant.
- Proficiency in the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method of curriculum delivery.
- NCCPA-certified Physician Assistant.
