What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mortgage Loan Processor position at SIU Credit Union?
SIU Credit Union is a financial institution that is for people, not for profit. We are a strong and growing credit union doing business in 24 southern Illinois counties with offices in Carbondale, Marion, Energy, Harrisburg and Metropolis.
We are currently seeking an experienced Mortgage Loan Processor at our Carbondale facility to deliver outstanding service to our members and the community.
What you'll do:
- Process first mortgage and home equity loan applications
- Prepare all documentation for final closings of home equity loans
- May be responsible for posting mortgage loans, establish loan files, and complete follow-up to meet secondary market guidelines
What we're looking for:
- High school diploma
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with loan documents is preferred
- Familiarity with general ledgers
