Seeking a compassionate, dependable caregiver/companion for a woman in Pacific Palisades. Start date is July 26, with flexibility.
Schedule: Approximately 16 hours/week, 8-hour shifts, typically 11:00 AM–7:00 PM but could shift later in the day, on the weekends and backup for weekdays, if interested. Schedule may vary.
Responsibilities: Mobility assistance, fall prevention, meal prep and cleanup, transportation to appointments and errands (car provided), companionship, monitoring changes in condition, encouraging hydration and activity, grocery shopping, pharmacy pickups, laundry, dishes, tidying, changing bed linens, and light housekeeping. Personal care may become necessary over time.
Requirements: Experience with seniors, reliable, patient, valid driver's license, strong communication skills, references required. Dementia care experience is a plus. Car required to reach residence.
