Seeking a warm, dependable companion for my 87-year-old mother with dementia who lives independently at home. We're looking for someone who feels more like a friend than a caregiver.
Schedule: 3–4 hours per visit, a few days per week (flexible)
Start: September
Pay: $25–35/hour DOE
Responsibilities include companionship, conversation, light meal prep, encouraging hydration, short walks, playing cards, watching TV, and helping with gardening.
Experience with seniors or dementia is a plus, but kindness, patience, and a genuine desire to build a meaningful connection are most important.
