Join Our Back-Up Childcare Team with Sitter Scout!
Sitter Scout is excited to welcome skilled and caring childcare professionals to our Back-Up Care team. As a trusted Bright Horizons agency partner, we provide in-home childcare for families across the Greater Philadelphia area.
Compensation: $21–$24 per hour, plus opportunities for bonuses.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Availability for at least 3 weekdays (M–F) during typical work hours (7:00am–7:00pm).
- Flexible and comfortable accepting assignments on short notice.
- At least 6 months of consistent availability.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on childcare experience, including caring for newborns and infants.
- Able to provide at least 3 childcare references.
- Reliable transportation required; mileage reimbursement offered for travel beyond 40 miles roundtrip (up to 100 miles max).
- Willingness to work in homes with pets (exceptions can be discussed if needed).
- Proactive, dependable, and well-organized personality.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check.
