The Opportunity

We're looking for a mission-focused operator to join the Pytho Mission Team. This role is ideal for

someone who thrives at the intersection of defense operations and technology delivery — someone who

can own the partner relationship, drive contract execution, and work hand-in-hand with product and

engineering to deliver real capability to warfighters. You'll be the connective tissue between what we

build and who we build it for. This is a high-ownership role where your judgment and relationships

directly shape what we deliver and how fast we grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Mission Owner: Lead end-to-end execution of contract deliverables — from requirements
  
  

gathering and scoping through delivery and sustainment. Ensure what we deliver meets

operational needs and exceeds partner expectations.

• Communication Owner: Serve as the primary point of contact for all partner communications on
  
  

assigned contracts. Own the relationship from end-users through senior leadership, keeping

stakeholders informed and engaged throughout.

• Product Collaboration: Work directly with the product team to translate partner needs,
  
  

operational feedback, and mission context into product requirements and priorities. Help define

what we build next.

• Engineering Partnership: Bridge the gap between partner operations and engineering execution.
  
  

Ensure the engineering team has the context they need to build the right thing, and that

deliverables are technically sound and mission-ready.

• Deliverable Ownership: Own the quality, timeline, and communication around all partner-facing
  
  

deliverables. You are accountable for what goes out the door.

• Strategic Growth: Identify opportunities to expand scope and deepen relationships within
  
  

existing contracts. Surface new needs, propose solutions, and help turn single engagements into

long-term partnerships.

Required

What You Bring

• Army intelligence background with hands-on experience in intelligence operations, analysis, and
  
  

fusion at tactical and operational levels.

• Experience managing partner relationships and delivering against contract requirements in a
  
  

defense or national security context.

• The ability to work across functions — comfortable with product discussions, engineering
  
  

tradeoffs, and partner-facing communications in the same day.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate between technical
  
  

teams and military stakeholders.

• Demonstrated ownership and bias for action in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
• Comfort working in an early-stage company where process is being built, not inherited.
• In-person in Washington DC / Northern VA required.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% to support mission engagements and partner relationships.
• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience on Mission Success, program management, or partner delivery teams within defense
  
  

tech or govtech companies.

• Familiarity with AI/ML products, particularly in intelligence, operational planning, or decision
  
  

support contexts.

• Background working with joint organizations or multi-service environments.
• Experience translating operational feedback into product roadmap inputs.
