Job Purpose
The Account Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with assigned clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and growth. This role serves as the primary point of contact between clients and the company, coordinating internal resources to deliver high-quality service and identifying opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, managing daily communications and ensuring a high level of satisfaction.
- Develop a thorough understanding of client needs, objectives, and industry trends to provide strategic guidance and solutions.
- Prepare and deliver account reviews, performance reports, and growth proposals.
- Coordinate with internal teams—including operations, logistics, and billing—to ensure seamless delivery of products and services.
- Monitor account performance and proactively address potential issues or concerns.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts.
- Track key account metrics and report regularly to management.
- Maintain accurate and organized client records in CRM and other reporting systems.
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent
experience).
- 2 years of experience in account management, sales, or customer relations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Proven ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities effectively.
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Working Conditions
The Account Manager will work primarily in an office environment with regular travel to client sites as needed. Conditions may include:
