1st Shift, Mon - Fri, 6am - 2:30pm
$19 - $22 p/hr BOE
Summary:
The Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling mechanical and electrical components using hand tools, power tools, and soldering equipment.
Daily tasks include interpreting technical drawings, following assembly instructions, quality control inspections, and ensuring product consistency and adherence to industry standards while collaborating as part of a production team to meet project timelines.
Duties and Skillsets:
• Strong understanding of cable prints
• Build/assemble individual cable assemblies and kits
• Understand different forms of measurement
• Detailed soldering experience preferred
• Ensure safety compliance with all assembly/production equipment
• Communicate with engineering for production planning and lead times
• Material handling-including inspection, pulling parts, cable cutting, label printing, awareness of counterfeit parts
• Organizational and time management skills are essential
• Knowledge of product shelf life
• Keeping the assembly/production area FOO free
• Knowledge of ISO and ASO standards
• Must be able to multitask
• Some experience in ERP systems. Microsoft knowledge is a plus
