Job Summary
Join our manufacturing team as a Production Assembler! In role, you will be responsible for assembling components and products with accuracy and efficiency. Your expertise in assembly, using specialized industrial tools will ensure our products meet the highest quality standards.
We need Assemblers at several of our locations. Experience with hand, air and power tools is a must. We need assemblers at different levels of experience and on a variety of materials
1. Milw South– Crate Builder, strong tape measure score, hand and power tools,1st shift, M-F, 7a-3:30p, $18
2. Milw South- Furniture Assembly, strong tape measure score, hand/power tools, 1st shift, M-F, 7:30a-4p, $18
3. Pewaukee - Assemblers, 1st & 2nd shift, $17 -$18, small hand assembly
4. Pewaukee, skilled Electric and mechanical assemblers needed for 1st shift, $19 - $21 p/hr
5. Greendale – Mechanical & Electric Assemblers, 1st 6a-2:30p, $18-$21
6. Muskego – Assemblers, heavy, hand tools and tape measure,2nd shift, 4p–12:30a, $19.25 until hired to the company, then it goes to $23
7. Waukesha – 2nd shift mechanical assembly, lots of OT, M-F, 3pm – 1am and every other Saturday 12pm – 6pm, $16 p/hr
Duties
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, and specialized industrial equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, shop math skills, and other measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances
- Interpret production documents and follow detailed assembly instructions to maintain quality standards
- Conduct manual handling tasks safely while adhering to personal protective equipment (PPE) protocols
- Perform soldering and machining tasks as required for component integration
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all safety procedures are followed during assembly processes
Requirements
- Proven experience with mechanical assembly
- Proficiency in using guages, measuring instruments, and shop math for precise measurements
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes including soldering, machining, and the use of power tools
- Strong manual dexterity with manual handling skills to assemble small parts efficiently
- Understanding of safety protocols including PPE use in a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
