Project Manager – Heavy Civil / Site Development

Position Summary
The Project Manager is responsible for managing multiple heavy civil and site development projects from contract award through final completion. This role serves as the primary point of contact between clients, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
· Manage projects from award through closeout
· Review contracts, plans, and specifications
· Lead project buyout and subcontractor/vendor procurement
· Develop and maintain project schedules
· Manage RFIs, submittals, and project documentation
· Oversee permitting requirements (NPDES / SWPPP)
· Prepare and track pay applications, change orders, and cost projections
· Coordinate with superintendents, field teams, and subcontractors
· Ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
· Manage inspections, testing, and project closeout documentation
Qualifications
· 3 years experience in heavy civil or site development construction
· Experience with earthwork, utilities, and roadway infrastructure
· Degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
· Experience with HCSS / HeavyJob and AGTEK (preferred)
· Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
