- Assist in menu planning by suggesting creative and nutritious options that cater to diverse dietary needs
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Support food preparation activities including chopping, cooking, plating, and portioning of ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to uphold health regulations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent food service in a timely manner
- Participate in catering events or special meal occasions as needed, ensuring all food safety standards are maintained
Requirements
- Strong background in food industry roles such as restaurant or kitchen experience with a focus on meal preparation and food handling
- Knowledge of menu planning, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking methods
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
