What are the responsibilities and job description for the Longevity Coach – Small-Group Strength & Recovery (Part-Time) position at Sisu Longevity Studio?
Sisu Longevity Studio opens in July 2026 as Colorado Springs' premier longevity and recovery studio — Finnish-inspired contrast therapy, advanced recovery modalities, performance testing, and a coached strength program, all under one roof. We are veteran-owned, and we are built on a simple idea: the goal isn't just more years, it's more life in the years you have.
We're hiring a Longevity Coach to deliver the heart of that program — our small-group Longevity Training Lab.
This is not a rep-counting job. It's a coaching job.
You'll lead our Cohort program: small-group training capped at four members, built on the Boyle/MBSC strength model and the NASM Corrective Exercise Continuum, delivered in 16-week progressive blocks. The framework, session structure, and measurement system are ours. Within that framework, the coaching judgment is yours — reading movement, interpreting assessment data, and deciding what each member needs that day.
You'll also:
- Conduct movement screening and our full performance battery — Demotu 3D markerless screens, VO2 max, lactate threshold, body composition, grip and gait — and turn that data into individualized programming
- Supervise self-directed Open Lab training hours
- Integrate recovery into training: lead "The Ritual" post-session contrast protocol, operate compression therapy, learn the studio's full recovery modality suite, and conduct special events
- Current NCCA-accredited certification, maintained in good standing
- Fluency in corrective exercise and functional strength — comfort coaching an adult population spanning deconditioned to athletic, with a real working knowledge of regressions and progressions
- Familiarity with the Boyle/MBSC model is a significant plus (CFSC welcome)
- The ability to demonstrate every movement in the program and to coach with clarity, patience, and presence
- Current CPR/AED/First Aid, or willingness to certify within 90 days (we cover recertification)
If you've worked in an Army H2F role, a PT clinic, or a small-group strength setting and you're drawn to the longevity mission, we especially want to hear from you.
- Coaching autonomy inside a real system — you're trusted to coach, not script-read
- Full studio access — complimentary Core modality access and a discount off Premium services
- A ground-floor seat — join the founding team and help shape how the Training Lab grows; hours expand as cohorts fill
- Certification funding for approved credentials (subject to a standard payback agreement)
- Benefits — paid sick leave per Colorado HFWA, workers' comp, and FAMLI participation per state law
Cohorts run in morning and afternoon blocks, Monday through Thursday, with Saturday makeup sessions. Early-morning availability (8:00 AM start) is required. Hours scale with cohort enrollment as the studio grows.
$22–$28 per hour, depending on experience and credentials. Benefits include complimentary studio access, a discount off premium services, paid sick leave per Colorado HFWA, certification funding, and workers' compensation and FAMLI participation as required by Colorado law.
