Visitation is currently searching for a full-time, 11-month Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator. The Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the planning and execution of all internal and external Admissions activities. The Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator will help foster a culture that honors the dignity and sacredness of every individual, helping develop and maintain a school environment that values diversity. This position is both a representative of our school and a role model for our students. This position would be an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate or a mid-level professional with a background in event logistics within schools or non-profit organizations. The ideal candidate will be a warm, professional ambassador who will actively support the mission & charism of the school and who demonstrates an understanding of and enthusiasm for secondary education, girls' education, and Catholic education.
The Admissions and Enrollment Coordinator reports to the Director of Admissions and works closely with the Associate Director of Admissions and the Admissions Committee.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and execute the Shadow Visitor Program (Cub for a Day) and campus tours.
- Provide logistical support for major Admissions events, including Open House, school fairs, and both virtual and in-person information sessions.
- Coordinate logistical details for committee meetings and Admissions-related events.
- Collaborate with the Communications Team to ensure all Admissions materials align with Visitation’s branding and messaging.
- Create engaging presentations and materials using Google Slides and other Google Workspace tools.
- Maintain organized digital records and manage communication workflows through school technology platforms.
- Assist in managing the online application system and enrollment database.
- Support the re-enrollment and enrollment process as needed.
- Identify opportunities to streamline event processes and the prospective applicant experience.
- Act as a primary point of contact for prospective students and families, fostering genuine connections.
- Develop strong working relationships with faculty, staff, and GVPA parent volunteers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree required: Preferably in communications, marketing, education, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of professional experience in Admissions, event planning, or administrative support (ideally within an academic or non-profit setting).
- Advanced proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to learn and navigate new enrollment management platforms quickly.
- Ability to manage multiple logistical moving parts simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; people skills are essential for success in this role.
- Exceptional warmth and professionalism, with the ability to engage authentically with diverse families and faculty.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort and confidence in presenting to both small and large audiences.
- Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends for major Admissions events (e.g., Open House, Administering Entrance Exams).
- Ability to lead walking tours across a multi-building campus.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required for local travel to school fairs and community outreach events.
