- Deliver professional nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and Oregon state regulations.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and safely.
- Monitor and record patient symptoms, reactions, and progress.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and families to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Provide a positive, safe and therapeutic environments.
- Active and unencumbered LPN or RN license in the state of Oregon
- Graduated from an accredited nursing program (LPN or RN)
- Current CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR).
- Successfully complete ORCHARDS background screening.
- Previous experience in a long-term care facility.
- IV certification or demonstrated experience in advanced clinical procedures.
- Knowledge of applicable state and federal regulations governing patient care.
- Standing and walking for extended periods during the shift.
- The ability to safely lift and transfer up to 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Requires physical stamina to handle emergencies, moving equipment, and performing other medical tasks.
- Ability to use full range of motion in body movements including bending, squatting, knelling, stooping and crouching, reaching over shoulder.
- Pushing and pulling carts and wheelchairs up to 200 lbs.
- Good hand and eye coordination.
