Role Overview
Sirva Moving Services is an industry leader in interstate moving. Each manager is responsible for servicing a large geographic region of the US as far as managing the demand to available capacity. Manager is responsible for as many as 10 schedulers or dispatchers. This role is responsible for mentoring, coaching and training the schedulers or dispatchers and of ensuring they have the tools necessary to be productive and efficient. The manager ensures excellent customer service through continual contact with the agent family, monitoring processes and creating improvement. The incumbent manages daily operations within their area of responsibility to insure the highest levels of service to the moving customer.

What You'll Be Doing
40% Communicate Proactively with Agents and Accounts to Maintain and Grow Business
- Ensure relationships are maintained and excellent customer service is provided.
- Provide support and resolution in the difficult customer situations
- Participate in quarterly customer reviews as necessary
- Develop goals for the team that align with the strategic goals of the department.
- Review progress of the team and department on a regular basis
- Determine areas of risk and deficiency
- Develop and execute plan for team to meet departmental goals
- Develop methods/checkpoints to validate progress and performance
- Determine root cause of deficiencies and methods to avoid/reduce risks
- Implement corrective action procedures to bring departmental performance back in line with the goals
- Work with various parties to look for improvements in all aspects of move management.
- University/college degree preferred.
- Excel skills preferred
- Strong analytical skills
- Access skills preferred
- Strong written and oral communication
- Analytical – understanding of rev. expense margin, basic math (calculate weight, density, CWT, rates, etc), data-
- Basic knowledge of country geography
- Organization – time management, setting priorities, multi-tasking, deadline oriented
- Teamwork and ability to work with different cultures
- Results-oriented
- Computer skills – mainframe experience a plus, Microsoft Office and Outlook, Excel and Access proficient
- Position Title: Manager, Operations
- Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 USD
