Position Overview
Sirius Staffing is seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Technicians for direct-hire opportunities at a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Columbus, MS. This position involves hands-on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of industrial machinery, electrical systems, and automated production equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance, PLC troubleshooting, and mechanical systems within a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
*
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and automated machinery.
*
Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on PLCs, CNC machines, motor controls, AC drives, servo drives, and electronic control systems.
*
Troubleshoot and program PLCs, drives, and motor control systems to maintain equipment reliability.
*
Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
*
Perform preventive maintenance, equipment inspections, and corrective repairs to minimize downtime.
*
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
*
Assist with equipment installation, modifications, and maintenance improvements.
*
Follow NEC, OSHA, NFPA, and established facility safety procedures.
*
Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to resolve equipment issues efficiently.
Qualifications
*
5–7 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
*
Experience troubleshooting and programming PLCs, drives, and motor controls.
*
Siemens PLC experience preferred.
*
Experience with CNC equipment and automated production machinery preferred.
*
Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulics and pneumatics.
*
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical blueprints.
*
High-voltage electrical experience and training preferred.
*
Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills.
*
Basic computer proficiency and ability to work safely with minimal supervision.
*
High school diploma or equivalent required.
*
Completion of a certified electrical program or industrial technical training preferred.
*
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Compensation & Schedule
*
Hourly Pay: $30.54 – $36.72, based on experience.
*
Shift Differential: Additional 8% for evening shift.
*
Schedule: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM.
*

Location: Onsite in Columbus, MS.
