- Client Interaction & Requirements Gathering:
- Meetings with clients: Participating in discovery sessions, status updates, workshops, and Q&A sessions.
- Gathering business requirements: Eliciting needs from stakeholders through interviews, surveys, and observation.
- Documenting requirements: Creating user stories, functional specifications, and process flows.
- Presenting solutions: Explaining proposed Salesforce configurations or customizations to clients.
- Providing updates: Communicating progress, challenges, and next steps to clients and project managers.
- Configuring Salesforce: Setting up objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and automation (Workflow Rules, Process Builder, Flow).
- Customizing Salesforce: Developing custom components, Apex code, Visualforce pages, or Lightning Web Components.
- Data management: Importing, exporting, cleansing, and migrating data.
- Building reports and dashboards: Creating and refining reports to meet client reporting needs.
- Testing configurations and code: Performing unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Troubleshooting issues: Investigating and resolving bugs or user-reported problems.
- Updating project management tools: Tracking tasks, progress, and time spent on activities.
- Collaborating with team members: Working with other consultants, developers, administrators, and project managers.
- Participating in team meetings: Daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Reviewing work: Providing feedback on configurations or code developed by other team members.
- Managing scope: Ensuring project work stays within agreed scope.
- Staying updated on Salesforce releases: Researching new features and functionalities.
- Learning new Salesforce products or technologies: Continuously expanding knowledge base.
- Pursuing certifications: Studying for and taking Salesforce certification exams.
- Reading industry blogs and forums: Staying informed about best practices and trends.
- 84 Months of Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud configuration and administration
- 60 Months of Experience in design, build, and deploy custom objects, fields, page layouts, record types, validation rules, and workflow rules
- 60 Months of Experience Salesforce automation tools such as Process Builder and Flow
- 60 Months of Experience in managing user profiles, permission sets, roles, and sharing settings to ensure data security and access control
- 60 Months of Experience in creating and optimizing reports and dashboards to provide actionable business insights
- 60 Months of Experience in the Salesforce AppExchange and the ability to recommend and integrate third-party solutions
- 60 Months of Experience in Salesforce data management best practices, including data loading, cleansing, and de-duplication
- 60 Months of Experience in Salesforce release cycles and the ability to adapt solutions to new features and functionalities
- 60 Months of Experience with Apex, Visualforce, and/or Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom development
