Job Details
Job Title: (Python/React/AWS) Quantitative Risk Developer
Location: New York, NY or Charlotte, NC or Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)
Duration: Long term
Practice: Digital Engineering / Data & Analytics with Risk domain background
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop responsive web-based UIs using React and Python (Flask/FastAPI).
- Build and maintain real-time data integrations using Kafka and message queues.
- Develop backend services and APIs with Python and Java for risk data processing.
- Deploy and manage applications on AWS using cloud-native services (Lambda, ECS, S3, etc.).
- Collaborate with Bank's risk and compliance teams to deliver scalable, secure solutions.
- Apply strong software engineering principles including modular design, testing, and CI/CD.
- Participate in hands-on coding, peer reviews, and agile ceremonies.
Required Skills:
- 5 6 years of experience in Python and React.
- Strong programming skills in Python and knowledge of Java.
- Experience with Kafka, MQ, and real-time data streaming.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure automation.
- Proven track record of delivering hands-on coding projects in production environments.
- Strong learning mindset and ability to adapt to evolving tech stacks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to financial risk platforms or regulatory reporting systems.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and GitOps workflows.
- Experience with observability tools and performance tuning.
