Job Description & Responsibilities
- Study assembly lines/processes and identify improvement areas using Lean principles
- Perform Time Study and Line Balancing including:
- Elemental breakdown
- Video time study
- Station/operator analysis
- VA / NVA / RNVA analysis
- Current state line balancing
- Muri analysis
- Develop Value Stream Mapping (VSM):
- Current state VSM
- Identify bottlenecks, waste, inefficiencies
- Capacity analysis & baseline study
- Future state VSM
- Gap analysis (Current vs Future state)
- Identify productivity/process improvement opportunities with Level 1, 2, 3 recommendations and roadmap
- Develop / rewrite Standard Work Instructions and Video Work Instructions
- Perform root cause analysis for quality failures, defects, downtime, etc.
- Support corrective actions, Kaizen initiatives, and implementation plans
- Support fixture design as per manufacturing requirements
Salary : $70,000 - $110,000
