This position is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing process flow and optimizing the production cycle.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; talk and hear. The employee regularly is required to walk and reach with hands. The employee is often required to sit and occasionally required to climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Employee uses computer keyboards often. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Employee views computer monitor often.

Production Flow & Layout Optimization
- Synchronize production flow between departments
- Organize the layout of the production flow
- Build processes to optimize production processes
- Plan and assist with projects for the manufacturing team
- Develop and implement standards
- Determine the root cause of issues and recommend changes to design or process
- Provide technical support to the manufacturing team
- Design workstations, fixtures, and tooling as needed
- Support implementation of new layouts, equipment, and process improvements
- Assist with evaluating ergonomics, efficiency, and safety in workstation design
Required
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and models
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Manage multiple tasks in order to meet deadlines with attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills both individually and with others
- Ability to hold high quality standards to meet customer specifications
- Ability to have a safety-focused mindset while performing job duties and functions
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong ability to be flexible with working hours to allow for occasional overtime
- Understand mathematics to verify job requirements and specifications
- Self-motivation with ability to work without much supervision
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
