Join our team at Sip 'n Soda as a Server, where your energy and personality will give a great guest experience! Since 1958, Sip'n Soda has been serving Southampton and the surrounding areas with classic Americana breakfast and lunch. We make homemade ice cream and offer milkshakes, ice cream sodas, sundaes. You'll become familiar with our customers and develop fun relationships with them and your coworkers. Duties

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
• Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Ensure timely food delivery by coordinating with kitchen staff and managing order flow efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in accordance with food safety regulations
• Assist with food handling, preparation, bussing tables, and resetting stations as needed
• Provide excellent guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings, is highly preferred
• Demonstrated culinary experience or understanding of food preparation and handling procedures
• Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to enhance guest experience and revenue
• Basic math skills for cash handling, cashiering, and accurate order processing
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, food safety standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Previous serving experience is advantageous but not required.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
