Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS system
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
- Assist with food handling, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen staff as needed
Requirements
- Prior experience as wait staff in a diner or restaurant
- Some knowledge of POS systems is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote menu items effectively
- Previous experience in serving, bussing, host/hostess roles or cashiering is highly desirable
- Capable of working flexible hours including nights and weekends
