Duties

• Perform professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and intricate nail art designs.
• Apply and maintain nail enhancements with precision and attention to detail.
• Educate clients on proper nail care, sanitation practices, and product recommendations to promote healthy nails.
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health regulations and salon standards.
• Utilize color theory knowledge to assist clients in selecting shades that complement their skin tone and personal style.
• Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service, active communication, and personalized consultations.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail art, hair extensions, hair styling, and other beauty treatments to offer innovative options.
• Manage retail sales of beauty products confidently using retail math skills to meet sales goals.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a seamless client experience from appointment booking to service completion.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Nail Technician or Nail Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse nail designs.
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care techniques, sanitation standards, and current beauty trends.
• Familiarity with advanced beauty treatments such as dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, and hair styling is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills for engaging clients effectively and understanding their needs.
• Ability to upsell services confidently while maintaining a focus on client satisfaction.
• Experience working in retail environments with sales responsibilities using retail math principles.
• Certification in cosmetology or related beauty fields is required; additional certifications in barbering or esthetic treatments are advantageous.
