Primary Purpose:
Responsible for the overall management, strategic planning, development, evaluation, and implementation of the district's maintenance, transportation, custodial services, warehousing, safety/security, and special projects as assigned.
Major Responsibilities Include:
- Oversee district facilities maintenance, transportation, warehouse, and custodial operations
- Provide leadership for campus and district safety initiatives
- Supervise maintenance, transportation, custodial, and operations staff
- Develop and manage departmental budgets, purchasing, and inventory
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations
- Coordinate emergency response planning and district-wide safety procedures
- Collaborate with principals and department leaders on operational needs
- Present operational reports and recommendations to district leadership and the Board
Qualifications:
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience in transportation, safety, security, or related operational leadership
- Strong leadership, communication, budgeting, and personnel management skills
- Knowledge of maintenance, custodial, transportation, and district safety operations
