What success looks like- You set up and tear down press brake tooling quickly and safely.
- Your first-piece checks match the print, and your documentation is accurate and complete.
- Quality records are up to date, and every container is tagged with the correct customer, part number, quantity, and shop order.
- You spot issues early, troubleshoot effectively, and keep production on track.
- Your area is clean, organized, and compliant with safety procedures every day.
- Operate press brakes (Accurpress, Dener, Toyokoki) and form parts to specification.
- Set up machines for production runs; remove/change tooling as jobs change.
- Inspect and measure parts using precision gauges; maintain quality documentation.
- Track quantities produced; label and tag finished parts correctly.
- Collaborate with supervisors and coworkers to coordinate work and resolve issues.
- Meet or exceed quality and performance targets while following all safety requirements.
- Equipment and mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Material handling experience and active Forklift license
- Machine setup experience for production runs
- Shop math proficiency and blueprint reading
- PPAP process experience
- Press Brake (Accurpress, Toyokoki)
