Summary of Position

- You will lead, mentor, and grow an IT organization including System Administrators and IT Support Specialists, setting priorities and holding the team to a high standard of service.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee network documentation (configuration, domains, software licensing, etc.)
- Assess and make recommendations to improve the Company’s current network security policy, including standards, compliance, and auditing
- Develop and implement IT policy and best practices guides for the organization
- Manage and report on allocation of IT budget
- Develop and manage disaster recovery plan and check lists
- Develop and manage incident response plan and check lists
- Manage backups and disaster recovery testing
- Implement processes/tools to track the Company’s Hardware and software assets
- Identify and act on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
- Lead the planning, vendor selection, and delivery of major IT projects—including an ERP implementation—owning budget, timeline, change management, and stakeholder alignment
- Provide hands-on project management for all IT initiatives from kickoff through go-live and post-implementation support
- Develop comprehensive Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with the business
- Supervise resources providing general desktop/network support, and measure performance against SLAs
- Provide direction and sets priorities for IT team
- Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
- Coordinate non-US service providers for international operations
- Communicate effectively with internal and external business partners
- Manage relationships with external technology suppliers
Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, technology, or related field
- 8 years of progressive experience in information technology, preferably including time as an IT Director, IT Manager, or in a related leadership position
- Demonstrated experience leading system implementations (e.g., ERP or comparable company-wide platform) from selection through go-live
- Hands-on experience in computer network, network administration, and installation
- Strong knowledge of technical management and information analysis
- Extensive knowledge of hardware and software systems
- Knowledge of the best practices in the industry
- Strong program & project management skills with the ability to prioritize activities effectively to execute multiple projects in parallel
- Team oriented, with a strong ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment to multiple deadlines
- Excellent time management with an ability to balance multiple projects and timelines and to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communications skills; ability to express ideas clearly and actively listen to others
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
Location & Schedule:
This position is onsite in Torrance, CA and the general hours are 7:30am – 4pm but may vary based on global needs.
What We Offer - Benefits Driven by You:
The starting pay range for this position is between $169,037 - 225,382 per year plus bonus. Actual compensation will be determined by skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
