Why You’ll Love This Role
- Drive the accurate, efficient, and complete recording of all general ledger transactions in accordance with GAAP
- Oversee and manage the existing and continued development and completion of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes to deliver accurate and timely financial reporting
- Work cross-functionally with key business partners and 3rd parties to support the completion of annual financial and compliance audits, and federal, state, and local tax returns
- Assist with preparation of presentations to the Board of Directors and Senior Management Team
- Identify and collaborate to automate accounting processes
- Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, revenue accounts, and any other accounts and information to support accurate and complete financial reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Five (5) or more years of experience actively supporting the month-end close and reporting processes
- Bonus points if you have a CPA and/or Big 4 experience.
- A true team player with a positive attitude.
- A hands on leader who indirectly manages accounting processes
