Shipping Receiving Associate

R/W Connection Inc., Central Pennsylvania’s top distributor of Industrial Hose, Conveyor Belt, Gasket, and Industrial Supplies, is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Associate at our Landisville distribution center.

This is a hands-on position responsible for managing daily shipping and receiving operations. We’re looking for a reliable, organized professional with strong attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform all shipping and receiving functions, including unloading, staging, and verifying incoming materials
• Prepare outgoing shipments with proper packaging, labeling, and documentation
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing freight, including carrier scheduling and paperwork
• Ensure timely order fulfillment and address any delays or discrepancies
• Maintain quality control standards related to shipping accuracy and documentation
• Follow and promote safety procedures throughout the warehouse
• Communicate with internal departments to support production schedules and customer needs
  
  

Requirements

• Prior warehouse or logistics experience (shipping/receiving experience preferred)
• Forklift experience (certification a plus)
• Basic computer and math skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work overtime as needed
