Kenco Hydraulics Inc., a leading provider of hydraulic and industrial hose products and repair services, is seeking a Counter Sales/ Inside Sales Representative to join our busy Hatfield, PA location.
This is a hands-on, customer-facing role where you'll help customers who visit our counter for hydraulic hose assemblies, fittings, adapters, and related industrial products. It's a great opportunity for someone looking to start or grow a career in the hydraulic and industrial supply industry - with full training provided.
What You'll Do
- Greet and assist customers at the sales counter, in person and over the phone.
- Assemble hydraulic and industrial hoses to customer specifications using crimping equipment (training provided).
- Identify and recommend hose, fittings, and adapter products to meet customer needs.
- Create sales orders, process transactions, and maintain accurate records in the system.
- Support field sales and service teams with product information and order preparation.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized counter and shop area.
- Load/unload customer materials as needed (some light lifting required).
What You Bring
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn hydraulic and industrial hose assembly processes.
- Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, energetic, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills for order entry and invoicing.
- Prior experience in industrial, automotive, or parts counter sales a plus, but not required.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school background preferred.
