Position Overview

Sinegal Estate Winery is seeking a polished, hospitality-driven Private Client Host/Brand Ambassador professional to join our estate hospitality team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional private tasting experiences while driving direct-to-consumer sales, cultivating long-term client relationships, and representing the estate with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Essential Responsibilities


Guest Experience & Hospitality

• Welcome guests and create an exceptional first impression throughout each visit

• Lead private tastings and estate tours tailored to guest interests and experience level

• Share the story of the estate, wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy in an engaging and authentic way

• Deliver elevated hospitality with a highly personalized, service-first approach

• Recognize returning members and VIP guests to deepen client connection and loyalty

Sales & Private Client Development

• Drive wine sales and club acquisition through consultative, relationship-based conversation

• Introduce membership opportunities, limited-production wines, and future engagement opportunities

• Support post-visit client follow-up and account relationship development

• Assist in achieving tasting room sales goals, club conversion goals, and client retention initiatives

Tasting Room Operations

• Execute opening and closing duties with consistency and attention to detail

• Prepare and reset tasting spaces, glassware, and service materials to estate standards

• Process transactions accurately using POS and CRM systems

• Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and organization of guest-facing areas

• Assist with wine stocking, packaging, and order fulfillment as needed

Team Collaboration

• Partner closely with hospitality leadership and colleagues to ensure seamless guest experiences

• Participate in staff training, tastings, and product education

• Support estate events, hosted experiences, and special projects when needed

Qualifications

• 6 years of hospitality, luxury service, winery sales, or client-facing experience preferred

• Prior tasting room or direct-to-consumer wine sales experience preferred

• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills

• Natural ability to build rapport and guide sales through authentic conversation

• High level of professionalism and attention to detail

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environment

• Experience with CRM, POS, or reservation platforms (Commerce7 and Tock preferred)

• Must be available weekends, holidays and some evenings | Schedule is Thursday-Monday

• Must be 21 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Ability to lift and carry up to 45 pounds regularly

• Ability to move throughout multiple estate locations

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate of pay at $35/hour sales commissions/incentives
