About the Position
We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Baker to join our team and help produce fresh, high-quality baked goods for our two local cafés. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with dough, is consistent, and is passionate about creating delicious pastries from scratch.
As our baker, you'll prepare a variety of items including croissants, cinnamon rolls, muffins, danishes, scones, cookies, and other seasonal pastries. You'll play a key role in ensuring our cafés are stocked each day with fresh, handcrafted baked goods.
Pay: starts at 18.75 but we are willing to increase based on experience

Responsibilities
- Prepare, mix, shape, proof, bake, and finish a variety of pastries and baked goods
- Produce laminated doughs such as croissants with consistency and attention to detail
- Bake muffins, cinnamon rolls, cookies, danishes, and other café favorites
- Decorate and finish baked goods as needed
- Follow recipes while maintaining high quality and consistency
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards
- Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate supply needs
- Keep the bakery workspace clean, organized, and efficient
- Assist with developing new seasonal and specialty menu items
Qualifications
- Previous bakery or commercial kitchen experience preferred but we are willing to train someone with less experience as well!
- Experience with laminated doughs
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for extended periods
- Passion for baking and producing high-quality products
