The person chosen for the position is responsible for the following:
- Contribute to digital content on all platforms.
- Schedule posts on the website, social media platforms.
- Confirm and cover breaking news, local news and statewide news.
- Write and copyedit digital content
- Ensure the newsroom is alerted when breaking news happens.
- Work with producers to ensure what’s covered on the web is also covered in the show and vice versa.
- Analyze audience engagement and performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Ability to write and edit copy for website and other digital platforms.
- Time management skills

- The ability to collaborate with large teams.
