Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Direct Support Professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with diverse needs, including those with autism, memory care requirements, and long-term care. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for our clients through direct support and caregiving.

Schedule- 12-Hour Shifts

We are seeking dependable and dedicated staff to cover the following shifts:

• Day Shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Shifts are 12 hours long, scheduled 3-4 days a week, with rotating weekends off. There are also opportunities for overtime.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Meal preparation.
• Provide patient monitoring and observation to track health and behavioral changes.
• Implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote social interaction and personal growth.
• Support clients in developing life skills, fostering independence and self-sufficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of client progress and any incidents that occur during care.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for each client.
• Attend activities and doctor's appointments.

Experience

• Must have a valid driver's license and your own reliable vehicle.
• Must be Med. 1 Certified 
• Must Be CPR Certified 
• Proven skills in caregiving, direct support, and patient observation are essential.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care while respecting client dignity and privacy.
