Job Title: Driver Compliance Specialist
Job Summary: The Driver Compliance Specialist is responsible for ensuring Sinacola maintains full compliance with company driver requirements, while supporting drivers and operational teams. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong organizational and communication skills who can partner across departments and external vendors.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Manage compliance for all Sinacola company drivers, ensuring accurate and up-to-date driver profiles (including signed policies and required documentation).
- Partner with third-party vendors to conduct quarterly Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) audits.
- Collaborate with the Safety Department to deliver new driver training, refresher training, and defensive driving courses.
- Serve as the first point of contact for driver complaints and ensure timely resolution or escalation.
- Coordinate with the Fleet Manager regarding vehicle assignments, returns, and driver transitions.
- Partner with Payroll to conduct periodic internal audits related to driver benefits and allowances and assist in reconciling toll tag (NTTA) invoices and making payments.
- Maintain accurate records and provide compliance reporting as required.
- Support continuous improvement of driver programs, policies, and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and record-keeping skills.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience presenting to groups and delivering information in a clear, professional manner.
- Prior experience in compliance, transportation, fleet management, or safety preferred.
- Experience conducting audits, maintaining employee/driver files, or working with third-party compliance vendors.
- Bilingual preferred, but not required.
