Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and functional training to promote recovery and independence.
- Monitor patient progress, document treatment sessions accurately using electronic health records (EHR), and communicate updates to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment procedures, home exercises, and safety measures to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Utilize telehealth platforms for remote patient consultations and follow-up care when appropriate.
Qualifications
- Valid certification or licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in accordance with state or regional regulations.
- Experience working with culturally diverse communities, demonstrating sensitivity and adaptability in various cultural contexts.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) management and telehealth platforms for efficient documentation and remote care delivery.
- Strong client communication skills to build trust, motivate patients, and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and assisting patients during therapy sessions.

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
