Reports to: Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences

Description

The Music Department at Simpson University seeks qualified Interim faculty to teach music classes or lessons. The ideal candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching.

Essential Functions

• Teach classes/lessons as assigned and fulfill teaching responsibilities (as needed) including class/lesson preparation, instruction, grading, and office hours
• Provide additional academic support to students as needed
• Foster a classroom environment that supports student engagement and growth
• Comply with all university policies, procedures, and expectations
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences
