A Complete Application Will Include
- Assist with planning, development, implementation, and delivery of all SSS programs and services.
- Assist students with individual needs, academic advisements, and counseling to project participants, including the Individual Educational Career Plan.
- Assist with progress reports and follow up on program participants.
- Serve on occasion as a liaison between SSS, college faculty, and community agencies.
- Coordination and training of peer mentors and supervision of the peer mentoring program.
- Coordination of the cultural activities for each program year.
- Serve on the campus Students of Concern Committee
- Master's degree required in Education, Counseling, or related academic area.
- Minimum 2 years of program experience in counseling or academic support services for low-income, first-generation, and/or minority students.
- Knowledge of collegiate academic and financial assistance procedures.
- Experience in networking and coordinating program activities.
- Preference given to candidates who have succeeded in overcoming barriers similar to those confronting the project’s target population
