Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Social Media Content Creator. The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for developing engaging social media content strategies, creating compelling posts, managing social media accounts, monitoring performance metrics, and collaborating with the marketing team to align content with overall brand messaging.

Social Media Content CreatorWe're looking for a Social Media Content Creator who can make content that people actually watch.
This person lives on social media and always knows what's trending across Instagram, TikTok, and Amazon. This role will lead hands-on content creation, from filming in-office to confidently starring on camera when needed. This role will work closely with our Social Media Manager and Founder to bring to life content drives awareness and results.Reporting into the VP of Marketing, the ideal candidate thrives in a fast-moving environment, can shoot and edit quickly, and is excited to create a lot of content around Simply’s moments and products.Key Responsibilities:
- Own the full process of creating short-form videos and posts across TikTok, IG Reels, and Amazon
- Everything from generating and pitching ideas, to production and editing
- You will need to feel comfortable being one of the faces of the brand as we do expect that you will be in many of the videos
- Be an expert on social platforms, including staying up-to-date on social trends and in-app features
- Work with our Social Media Manager to post and track performance of content and identify top and bottom performers each week
- Identify what’s working and iterate quickly
- Continuously test and refine hooks, formats, and concepts based on performance
- Work with our Social Media Manager to provide ideas for captions, hashtags, and social-first copy
- Help create engaging, on-brand thumbnails per platform
- Provide on-the-ground support and capture behind-the-scenes content at events, retail moments, and store visits
- Create casual, office-based content featuring team members to showcase brand culture
- Partner with VP, e-Comm to prepare assets for Paid Media and retailers, including Amazon
Qualifications:
- A portfolio of your prior work experience creating content for brands. Doesn’t need to be viral, but should show instinct and style
- Comfortable on camera
- Self-motivated and adaptable, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Scrappy and fast (iPhone > overproduced)
- Experience editing in CapCut or similar
- Genuine passion for social-first storytelling
- Familiarity with social performance metrics
