Position Overview
As an Independent Cleaning Contractor, you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality cleaning services on behalf of simply therapy cleaning You will manage your own schedule (within assigned job parameters), supply your own cleaning materials (unless otherwise specified), and maintain professional communication with management and clients.Must have insurance
This role is ideal for experienced, self-motivated cleaners who take pride in their work, manage time effectively, and want flexibility while operating under the Tenacity Clean brand.
Primary Responsibilities
Perform assigned cleaning duties with excellence, including:
- General residential and commercial cleaning
- Deep cleans, move-in/move-out cleans, and post-construction cleanups
- Airbnb / rental turnovers
- Dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces
- Bathroom and kitchen detailing
- Linen changes (when required)
Arrive on time and ready for work according to the job schedule. Communicate immediately if issues, delays, or damages occur on-site. Maintain a positive, professional attitude while representing Tenacity Clean. Follow checklists, job notes, and client preferences as provided. Take before-and-after photos for quality assurance and client reporting. Submit invoices weekly for completed jobs (if not paid via automated system). Use company apps or portals (e.g., Slack, Connecteam, ConvertLabs) for updates, job status, and communication.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of cleaning experience (residential or commercial).
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites.
- Working smartphone for app check-ins, photo uploads, and communication.
- Basic cleaning equipment and products.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality work.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
- Must have Insurance
Compensation
- Pay: Commission-based (typically 40–50% of each job, depending on experience and reliability).
- Paid monthly or every 2 weeks via direct deposit or business payment system.
- Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, supplies, and transportation.
- Independent Contractor Agreement
This position is a 1099 Independent Contractor role — not an employee position. As such, you are responsible for managing your own taxes, liability, and insurance. simply Therapy cleaning does not provide benefits, health insurance, or employee coverage under this classification.
