Job Summary
We are seeking energetic and detail-oriented Part Time Commercial Cleaners to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various commercial facilities. Your enthusiasm and commitment to quality will help ensure our clients’ spaces are pristine, safe, and welcoming.
Multiple locations available between Hudsonville, Grandville, Wyoming, Byron Center
Applicants must be 18 years old to work alone!
Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial settings
- Use specialized equipment for floor care, buffing, and industrial cleaning to ensure high standards of cleanliness
- Conduct custodial duties including restroom sanitation and surface disinfecting
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, offices, restrooms, and hallways according to company standards
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as light repairs or reporting issues needing further attention
- Follow safety procedures during all cleaning activities to ensure a secure environment for yourself and others
- Keep detailed logs of completed tasks and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly
Requirements
- Prior janitorial or custodial experience preferred; experience with commercial or industrial cleaning is a plus
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Reliable transportation and availability for part-time shifts
- Ability to work independently while following established procedures
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
