Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
Responsibilities

Create a welcoming and positive experience for patients by helping them feel comfortable and informed throughout their orthodontic visit

Assist the Orthodontist during a variety of orthodontic procedures, including adjustments, bonding, debonding, retainer appointments, and other clinical treatments

Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials to ensure appointments run efficiently and on schedule

Take diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, photographs, and scans/impressions as needed

Educate patients on oral hygiene, appliance care, retainers, aligners, and post-treatment instructions to support successful outcomes

Monitor patient flow and work closely with the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule and minimize wait times

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and update patient records as needed

Follow all infection control, sterilization, OSHA, and HIPAA protocols to ensure a safe clinical environment

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional treatment area

Collaborate closely with the orthodontic team to support exceptional patient care and day-to-day office operations

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management

Qualifications:
What qualifications you bring:
• You have a valid and current MA State Dental Assistant License
• You have a valid X-ray Certification
• You have a High School Diploma or Equivalent
• You are CPR & First Aid Certification
• You are knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and changes
• You are computer proficient including Microsoft office and Practice Management Software
