Summary
This role supports various Global Treasury activities assisting Treasurer, Finance Manager, Cash Manager, Commodity Analyst, and/or Senior Treasury Analyst with analysis and execution of Global Treasury’s strategic initiatives. Facilitates daily treasury operations, provides accurate cash reporting, and assists with bank structure management and risk management activities. Produces reports to aid in the forecasting of cash needs for the Company and assists with other Treasury functions. Manage and analyze Company’s financial activity and reporting, along with assisting with leasing activities. Works cross functionally with the Finance team to identify commodity, foreign exchange, and interest rate exposures and support the hedging programs, and leasing programs.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with debt management, covenant compliance reporting, leasing activity and specialty financing.
- Assist with debt reporting for quarterly compliance reporting, along with performing covenant trending and sensitivity analysis.
- Assist with company-wide leasing activity to include reporting accurate and timely leasing information for payment processing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
- Work with Cash Manager/Sr. Treasury Analyst to coordinate debt financing activity and document files.
- Creating Ad-hoc reports as well as updating current dashboards.
Assist with the company’s hedging program.
- Trading, reporting, derivative analysis and tracking to include grain, livestock, oils, energy, and fuel markets.
- Updating team members with weekly and monthly transaction reports. Maintaining current and meaningful policies.
- Acting as a contact to internal business partners as well as outside vendors and brokers on commodity related programs.
- Market research, analysis, and reporting associated with commodity activities for the Finance Manager and business leaders across the company.
- Assist other departments with month-end and ad hoc information requests as needed, as well as updating current dashboards.
Cross functional support.
- Act as a Treasury liaison with the company’s business units in setting up new banking accounts, services, and handling bank inquiries and related matters
- Support corporate accounting, corporate tax, financial planning, internal audit and other functions as they relate to Treasury transactions and entity structures
- Work with FP&A on developing operating cash flow forecasts, enhance visibility into global cash balances, optimize working capital and establish metrics/key performance indicators
- Recommend and implement solutions to strengthen operational controls and incorporate best practices.
- Assist with presentation material for investors, rating agencies or the Board of Directors as needed.
