Summary

Assists Production Operators in the operation, cleaning, and maintenance of milling and grain handling facilities and/or equipment to promote the effective and efficient use of the operations resources.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Cleans and maintains areas of the facility by sweeping floors and spraying areas with water to reduce the amount of airborne particles.
• Performs routine/daily maintenance on milling and grain-handling equipment
• Performs other duties assigned by the Mill Manager
• Other duties may be assigned.

Education And/or Experience

• Six or more months related experience; further on the job training will be provided.
  
  
  

Language Skills

• Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
  
  
  

Mathematical Skills

• Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's.
• Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
  
  
  

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  
  
  

Additional Requirements

Must be a licensed driver of single axle vehicles
