Electrician

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Electrician at Simplot Company located in Grand Forks, ND. The Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with safety and operational standards. Responsibilities include conducting electrical inspections, performing preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues, and implementing solutions to ensure the reliability of all electrical systems and equipment at the facility.

• Proficiency in electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Familiarity with electrical systems, schematics, and blueprints
• Experience with industrial controls, PLCs, and automation systems
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, electrical codes, and regulations
• Physical ability to work in various environmental conditions and perform hands-on tasks
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
• Completion of an accredited electrician apprenticeship program or equivalent experience
• State electrician license or certification
• Experience in an agricultural or industrial environment is a plus
